October 9, 2013
Today was a very busy day.  We had the fire department come to talk to us about fire safety.  Did you know that most fires start in the kitchen?  Students were asked to go home and look for fire hazards in their kitchens.  Please talk to your child about some dangerous situations in the kitchen.
As we read Wonder today, we talked about acceptance as we saw August start to be more accepted by the kids at his school.  The students had a good discussion about why kids do/ say the things they do.
We will have a retest in Science on Monday, so don't forget to study!  Have a great weekend!

We read some more of our book Wonder. That is a really good book. We all can't wait to see the next point of view. In Social Studies we learned about the ice man, a 5300 year old mummy who was frozen in the ice and preserved for all of that time! In science class we did these really fun essays. We all had a great time in gym.  Please return conference slips by Tuesday!
Nitroball leagues begin today- Hurray!
